Consultant psychiatrist and medical director. Dr. Arida is a highly experienced consultant psychiatrist with a background spanning over 25 years in psychiatry. He served for many years as a consultant psychiatrist at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), Abu Dhabi, where he also held the position of Head of the Adult General Psychiatry Clinic. During his tenure at SKMC, Dr. Arida played a pivotal role in undergraduate medical training, chaired continuous medical education programs, and contributed to various committees focusing on psychiatric care and education. In 2013, Dr. Arida transitioned to the private sector in Abu Dhabi. He provides a comprehensive psychiatric care to individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults and the elderly. He has a wealth of experience in lecturing, teaching, and conducting workshops on diverse psychiatric topics. He is recognized as an expert in Transcranial magnetic stimulation for the treatment of various psychiatric disorders. Dr. Arida completed his medical degree at Aleppo University Faculty of Medicine and obtained his Arab Board in Psychiatry in the United Arab Emirates. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association.
