Dr . M Gamal Mousa is a consultant psychiatrist with long and extensive experience, he has worked in KSA in Al-Amal Hospital in Riyadh from 1987 – till 1991 then he has worked as a consultant psychiatrist in Behavioral Sciences Pavilion in Sheikh khalifa Medical City- Abu Dhabi till 2019. He has worked in different units including inpatient and outpatient settings. He was a faculty member of the residency psychiatry training program and he was actively involved in medical student training . He has participated and chaired several committees including medical board committee, ECT committee , TMS committee, and others. Dr.Gamal has completed the Arab Board in Psychiatry in United Arab Emirates. He has actively participated in educational and awareness programs and conferences in the field of psychiatry held in the region and internationally and participated in research and clinical studies published in psychiatric journals.

Dr. Mohamed Al Garhy has more than 35 years of experience in General and Addiction Psychiatry. He was the Medical Director and Chairman of Behavioural Science Pavilion (BSP), Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi. He served as a Consultant Psychiatrist in National Health Service (NHS) in Devon Partnership NHS Trust in United Kingdom. He was a Lecturer in psychiatry in South West Peninsula Postgraduate Medical Education in United Kingdom. He is a former Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in UAE University and an expert witness for Abu Dhabi Judicial Department. He conducted many researches in the field of addiction psychiatry and has multiple publications in European psychiatric journals. He was a Member of the Editorial Board of the Psychiatric Bulletin, Royal College of Psychiatrists in United Kingdom.

A consultant psychiatrist with more than 25 years of experience. Dr Amani is effectively treating patients with a wide range of conditions in adults as well as children and adolescents. She had worked for many years as a consultant psychiatrist at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), Abu Dhabi, where she served in inpatient and outpatient departments . She was the head of the child and adolescents psychiatry unit in the period between 2004 till 2011 and was the chair of the medical board in the same facility between January 2023 till October 2024. Dr Amani was also a core faculty member in the psychiatry residency program. She is actively participating in education program and is an examiner in the Emirati Board Clinical Comperhensive Examination (CCE).
She completed her medical degree at Khartoum University in Sudan and obtained the Arab Board in psychiatry. She also has a master degree in clinical psychiatry from University of South Wales in United Kingdom (UK).

Dr. Somaya Shaheen is a consultant psychiatrist at Beautiful Mind Medical Center. She is also an associate professor of psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. Following her graduation with a bachelor’ s degree in medicine from Cairo University, she completed her master’ s and doctorate degrees in psychiatry from the same university. She went through extensive training in both outpatient and inpatient facilities at Cairo University hospitals for all subspecialities, including adults, children and adolescents, old age, and addiction. She also got training in addiction psychiatry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she joined the integrated substance abuse program. Aside from her clinical practice, she has been involved in teaching and training undergraduates and junior psychiatrists at Cairo University and has been invited as a speaker at local and international conferences. She also participated in and published several articles in psychiatry in international journals.

Dr. Kumar is a distinguished psychiatrist with vast clinical experience. He served as the head of the Department of Psychiatry at Hamdard University, Karachi, Pakistan, from January 2019 to June 2023. Dr. Kumar completed his postgraduate training and education at Aga Khan University, Civil Hospital Dow University of Health Sciences, and Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre in Karachi.

Maher is a bilingual British trained and UAE licensed clinical psychologist. He obtained his BA in Psychology from Cyprus and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counseling (Psychotherapy) from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. He has worked in several settings both public (Sheikh Khalifa Medical City) and private in inpatient and outpatient settings. For the last 26 years he has worked extensively in individual, group, marital and family psychotherapy/counseling with different age groups (children, adolescents and adults). Having also worked for 21 years in a major mental health facility he can help clients deal with all the major issues/disorders like depression, addiction, anxiety, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and so on besides personality disorders, psychosis, schizophrenia, dissociation, mania and so on… Improving quality of life, stress management, training in relaxation and breathing techniques, and enhancing conceptual, social and practical skills are also an important part of the services he provides.

Nayla Othman is a Clinical and Counseling Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in psychological assessments, therapy, and mental health prevention. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), crisis management, and family and individual therapy. Currently practicing at Beautiful Mind Medical Center in Abu Dhabi, she has previously worked with Emirates Health Services (EHS), Al Amal Hospital (Dubai), and Ahfad University for Women . Her expertise includes psychological assessments, psychometric testing, prevention of mental disorders, crisis management, and mental health training. She holds a Master’s in Counseling and Health Psychology (2013) and a Bachelor’s in Counseling & Health Psychology (2000) from Ahfad University for Women, along with an Intensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Training from Behavioral Tech Institute DBT MENA, Jordan (2024).
Nayla has made significant contributions to the field of mental health. Fluent in Arabic and English, she remains dedicated to enhancing mental health services through evidence-based therapy.
